This iteration of the Arts Career Design Studio is tailored to the specific needs of international students as they design a meaningful path through their Arts degrees and think about life after graduation.
Through this full-day Studio you will develop skills to conduct an effective job search, including considerations around assessing opportunities for a fit with who you are and alignment with your values; practice telling your story verbally and in writing, including considerations around your experience as an international student; and have the opportunity to meet with professionals employed in various industries who have immigrated to Canada. Sessions will be co-facilitated by former International students who will share their lived experiences and career journeys.
If you have any questions about the Career Design Studio, please reach out to arts.compass@ubc.ca.
This program will take place in-person at the UBC Vancouver Campus.
