Chan Centre Connects is programming that complements the Chan Centre Presents concert series, engaging audiences through a variety of thought-provoking and informative events that aim to illuminate the role of artists and the arts in our society. Events include documentary film screenings, pre-show talks with artists and experts, workshops and master classes, and other free activities both on and off the UBC campus.

For the 25th anniversary of Graceland, Paul Simon returns to South Africa for a historic reunion concert—and a look at his landmark album’s turbulent birth. Featuring anti-apartheid activists and music legends like Harry Belafonte, Paul McCartney, and Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
