To be an entrepreneur means to take on a risk in the hopes of reward—but that reward doesn’t have to be (only) financial. Entrepreneurship can offer a set of tools to pursue what is meaningful to you.
Meet an inspiring panel of UBC Arts students and alumni who ventured to make a bold idea a reality with the support of training offered by the Faculty of Arts. The Arts entrepreneurship program helped them develop the skills they needed to successfully launch their ventures. Our panelists will share their experience of coming at the question of innovation from an Arts perspective, why they wanted to take their Arts training in an entrepreneurial direction, and how they’re redefining their own measures of success.
Come for inspiration and maybe you’ll leave with motivation to pursue your own groundbreaking venture. Because we know that Arts is full of big ideas!
