Past and Present UBC Involvement: I have worked with UBC studios and the Mathematics department making videos that help first-year students thrive in their university Math courses. I have volunteered with The Ubyssey by writing reviews of different events going on in Vancouver such as MOA exhibitions or the Vancouver Mural Festival.

I used to be treasurer of AMS Equal Voice UBC a student association advocating for the representation of minorities in politics. I also worked as a Collegia Advisor for the Upper Exchange Collegium during the 2019 Winter Session.

When I’m not studying, I spend time with friends, trying new coffee shops (my favourite is Lokal on 4th avenue) around the city, or watching a show.

Tip for my first-year self: Take time to plan out your term and go to office hours or use other academic resources if you’re struggling with a class.
