Linguistics (Sessional Lecturer)

The Department of Linguistics, University of British Columbia (Vancouver Campus), invites applications for a part-time sessional lecturer in Linguistics for the 2018 Summer session to teach the following course:

2018 Summer Term 2 (July 3 – August 18, 2018)
LING 222 (3) Language Acquisition

Requirements: A Ph.D. in Linguistics (but will also consider applicants with a minimum qualification of ABD), expertise in the subject area of the advertised course, and teaching experience at college/university level.

The application dossier should include a letter of interest, CV, evidence of teaching effectiveness, and the names and addresses of three referees. All positions are subject to availability of funds and will be governed by UBC’s “Agreement on Conditions of Appointment for Sessional Lecturers.” Effective July 1, 2018, the minimum salary is $6,915 per 3-credit course.
