Grading Options for Courses that Ended in April 2020

The Faculty of Arts offered exceptional grading options for students with courses that ended in April 2020, including accepting a grade, withdrawing from a course, or requesting Credit/D/Fail standing.


Exceptional application of Credit/D/Fail standing

If you chose Credit/D/Fail grading for a course that ended in April 2020, that course can be used towards:

  • Degree requirements
  • Program requirements – Major and minor Arts programs will accept CrDF standing

Program applications and Credit/D/Fail standing

If you opted for CrDF grading for a course that ended in April 2020 and are interested in a program that requires an application (Arts Co-Op, Teacher Education, Peter A. Allard School of Law, or graduate programs), please contact them directly about admission criteria.

Undergraduate Arts programs (Honours, majors, minors) adjusted their application processes to accommodate courses ending in April 2020 that have CrDF standing. As each program’s process is unique to them, please check their website for more information.
