What extracurricular activities have you been involved with (UBC related or not)?
I’ve been a cafe volunteer for UBC Sprouts, reading mentor for Learning Buddies Network, as well as a stocking volunteer for the AMS Food Bank. These opportunities have allowed me to meet many amazing people outside of my year/faculty!
What is your best study strategy/tip?
I’m a firm believer in prioritizing areas of weakness instead of studying the chapters in chronological order.
If you could travel back in time to your first year at UBC, what is one thing you would do differently?
I wish I wouldn’t have put as much academic pressure on myself. There were times where I lost sight of the fact that it’s only my first year, and I wish I’d given myself permission to let loose a little more.
