Some students find that joining UBC in 2nd year or later can be a bit tricky to navigate—you may be feeling out of sync or disconnected. If that is the case, come and meet other transfer and mature students who might feel the same as you! There will be coffee, tea, some healthy snacks, and info and resources to help ease your transition to UBC. If you didn’t come directly to UBC from high school then this event is for you.
This Student Wellbeing workshop is part of a series of events in The Compass: Arts Students Engagement Hub. Student life can be challenging. Classes, exams, friendship and family drama can all pile up and lead to feelings of anxiety and stress. The good news is there are healthy habits you can learn and practice that will allow you to better navigate difficulties and even thrive throughout the semester and beyond.
