This “Grad School 101” session will shed light on the many types of further education programs available in Canada and how to prepare for them as an undergraduate student. Come learn about research-based graduate programs, professional and clinical graduate programs, college programs, micro-credentials, and bootcamps, as well as how to navigate admissions requirements and interpret terms like “supervisor” and “Tri-Council funding.” This session is open to undergraduate Arts students in all class years and programs, and will discuss further education options that may interest students from a wide variety of Arts disciplines. A “Grad School 201” session on writing effective applications will take place in November.
