UBC Arts Multilingual Week invites UBC students to enter this year’s Untranslatables Art Competition by submitting digital media projects that creatively thematize phrases and words that only exist in a given language. Sign up here now and submit your digital media project by Wednesday, March 6 @ 11:59PM to qualify for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes and to be showcased during our Arts Multilingual Week programming.
All members of the UBC community are invited to compete, and this year’s prizes include Gift Certificates to the UBC Bookstore.
This event is a part of Arts Multilingual Week 2024 from March 4 to 8. Join us to celebrate multilingualism and immerse in various activities to engage with different languages and cultures. There are opportunities to showcase artistic expressions of multilingualism, discuss career prospects for multilingual graduates, and participate in activities such as poetry slams and art competitions.
